Message Center messages are experiencing a delay in delivery

Between 15:53 PDT and 19:35 PDT 6th June, customers may have experienced significant delays in sending messages via Message Center. If expiration time was set on these messages and that time had passed by when they were processed, they were not sent. Engineering has identified the cause of the issue and restored Message Center to normal operation.

Our engineering teams have deployed a fix to resolve the Message Center delivery delay and we have returned to our normal delivery rates. All systems are functioning as expected.

We are currently experiencing an issue that is resulting in delays when sending Message Center messages. Push notifications that are sent with a Message Center message will also notice a delay in delivery. All other services are working as expected.
